Military sources told the official media that the IS fighters launched a complex attack last night on an Iraqi army barracks near the village of Sheikh Muhammad, east of the Samarra district.
The sources added that the attack began by targeting the army barracks with machine guns, which led to several soldiers being killed and injured and the destruction of a thermal camera.
The sources explained that the fighters prepared ambushes near the barracks in order to target enemy support patrols. Upon the arrival of the enemy patrols, the IS fighters surprised them by firing their weapons and grenades from a distance of 10 meters.
The attack resulted in 5 deaths, including a “regiment commander” in the army with the rank of “colonel,” in addition to the injury of 5 other soldiers and damaging two Humvee vehicles, and after the attack the IS fighters returned to their bases safely and unharmed.

Prošle godine je Bagdad stavio embargo na izvoz nafte iz Kurdistana. Posle godinu dana su Kurdi "odlučili", da sada idu financije preko SOMO, State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), which is controlled by the Oil Ministry in Baghdad.
Pošto su Rusi u Kurdistanu, sada posao može dalje.

darcaud ::Novi iranski predsednik je pre posete Bagdadu posetio i Erbil, središte iračkog Kurdistana. Razgovarali su o ekonomskim pitanjima ( samo?) i završili slatkorečivim izjavama.

Pre će biti da s obzirom na veze kurda sa zapadom, novi iranski predsednik traži put prema normalizaciji odnosa sa zapadnjacima.
Тешко, јер запад ту "нормализацију" не жели. А не жели ни Иран јер је Гадафи најбољи пример како та "нормализација" изгледа. Сем тога Иран снабдева Русију ракетама а Русија Иран ко зна чиме. И на крају у Ирану спољну политику не води председник.
Пре ће бити да се ради о испипавању терена на обе стране јер су САД најавиле повлачење из Ирака а Курди желе да се обезбеде пошто у Ираку доминирају шиити.
