The unmanned aircraft was downed over Iranian territory with domestically manufactured Mersad surface-to-air missiles. Provincial governor Gholamreza Shariati told agencies that the drone belonged to a foreign country and that parts of it had been recovered in a nearby lagoon. Iranian news agencies said the drone was shot down in the country’s airspace. The US has denied that the drone was theirs.
The seriousness of the latest episode will largely depend on the ownership of the drone, and whether it was for military or civilian purposes. The port is the leading hub for Iranian activity in the Gulf, as well as a petrochemical facility. Iran has claimed to have shot down drones before, only for further news on the incidents not to be made public.
Iran je oborio tuđi dron, koji je leteo veoma nisko prema luci u Bandar e Mahšaru, gdje su i naftne instalacije. Dron je oboren domačim sistemom Mersad, koji je izrađen na osnovi sistema Hawk. Ovo djeluje jako slično napadu sa dronovima na saudijsku rafineriju u Abkajku. Ali za razluki od Sauda, Iran je dron odkrio i oborio. Ovo još pogoršava fijasko zapadnih sistema PVO u Saudskoj Arabiji.

Nemci kažu, da će opet biti sankcija.
Nismo ovo uopšte propratili. Žestoki protesti širom Irana. Tokom vikenda je poginulo minimum 106 ljudi a povređenih je bilo preko hiljadu. Sumnja se da to nije konačna cifra i da je poginulo preko 200 ljudi a da je povređeno preko 3.000 ljudi.
Inače protesti su počeli zbog poskupljenja goriva. Gorivo je poskupelo sa 10.000 na 15.000 (50%) s tim da po toj ceni može do 60 litara mesečno da se kupi. Svaka sledeća litra bi trebalo da košta 30.000 rijala.
Mislim da je pred njima pakao ako ne reše problem sa SAD jer ove sankcije će sve teže i teže pogađati Iran. Ako je narod ovoliko popizdeo posle godinu dana šta li će biti za još dve ili ne daj bože ako se Indija i EU priključe sankcijama.
