Citat:Since Thursday, March 31, 0600 GMT, NATO exercises command of all operations in Libya in the framework of resolution 1973 the Security Council of the UN. These operations are now conducted under the name "Unified Protector.
On the evening of March 31, two Air Patrol and two Rafale M 2000D patrols conducted from the air base of Solenzara support missions and air interdiction. Two C 135 are also provided for air refueling missions.
During the day on April 1st, a Rafale Air Patrol, a patrol Rafale, a patrol 2000D M, a joint patrol Rafale and Super Etendard modernized (SEM) and a patrol upgraded Super Etendard (SEM) were engaged in regions of Sirte, and Misrata Zlitan.
