С обзиром на тунишанску наклоност устаницима, Гадафијеви стратези оценили су да би отворена граница према тој држави представљала увод у озбиљну кризу на западу, па су серијом напада покушали да отерају побуњенике преко граничне линије.
После два дана борби, у четвртак после подне, владине трупе су заузеле прелаз Дехиба Вазин и појурили побуњенике преко границе, при чему је неколико јединица прешло границу, а на тунишанску територију пало је и најмање десетак пројектила из вишецевних ракетних бацача.
Тунис је оштро протестовао, тражећи од Триполија да одмах заустави нападе и трупе повуче на своју страну границе.

"NATO this morning attacked Gaddafi's forces positioned north of Zintan, from where they have been surrounding the town.

There has been fighting at the nearby Wazin crossing for several days.
It is understood the Tunisian security forces have disarmed the Libyan soldiers and driven them back across the border.
The Tunisian government has demanded Libya put an immediate stop to incursions into its territory.

Danish F-16 has conducted two missions to Libya, the last day in the area southwest of Tripoli. Were used 6 precision bombs against depot areas.
There are now conducted a total of 134 Danish missions, of which 133 have been air-to-ground missions, while one was an air-to-air mission. The total number of bombs from the Danish F-16 is now at 303 pieces.

NATO today accused forces loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to lay mines in the port of Misrata third Libyan city in the hands of insurgents to prevent the sending of humanitarian aid to the beleaguered population.
"An incident occurred when vessels belonging to the forces of Gaddafi, have laid mines around the port," he told reporters the General Rob Weighill. "This is another striking demonstration of how the Gaddafi regime ignores international law and also tries to hinder the shipment of humanitarian supplies to assist a beleaguered population," he said.
