"Libyan airstrikes" situation update 26-28 March 2016
Citat:The air force of Tobruk governement (Libyan National Army Air force) continued its airstrikes against terrorist groups in Benghazi during all the weekend. On Saturday 26th, MiG-21MF serial number "18" carried out one mission from Tobruk AB in the outskirts of Benghazi using French made 250kg Type 25A1 SAMP aerial unguided bombs. On Sunday, the same aircraft was engaged in another airstrikes carrying S-24 rockets (diameter 24 cm or 9.4 inches), while MiG-23ML serial number "453" took off from Labraq AB.
On Monday 28th March, airstrikes were more intense. Mi-35s from Labraq AB destroyed one store and three armed vehicles in the the 400 neighborhood in Derna. At 12:10, the headquarters operations room for terrorist groups in the region of Alkwarshh was completely destroyed by the bombing of MiG-21 and MiG-23. At 15:58, one MiG-21 took off to target two bulldozers coming from the West of the country at 150 kilometers west of Benghazi. During the night of 28 to 29th March, at 22:45, 3:25 and 4:55 five others bulldozers were destroyed by Mi-8 equipped with RBK-250 cluster bomb and Mi-35 helicopters loaded of S-8 rocket launchers and UPK-23-250 gun pod. The two helicopters took off from Labraq AB.
