After Tripoli, The Turkish Defense Minister visited Misrata Today as he arrived by a Turkish navy S-70B Seahawk helicopter & inspected the TAF operations center in the GNA air force college base.
Turkey now has two operations and command centers in Libya, one in Misrata and the other in Tripoli, the capital, while Turkey is currently expected to prepare a third center for operations & command at al-Watiya air base in western Libya.

The 9th explosions was due to a MIM-23 Hawk missile hiting a nearby fuel Tanker after the platform was targeted.

Izvršen je snažan avionski udar na tursku bazu na vojnom aerodromu Al Watija jugozapadno od Tripolija. Bazu su branile dve baterije turskih sistema Hawk. Ubitih je najmanje 4 turskih oficira. teoretski to bi mogli da izvede LNA sa avionima Su-24M koristeči rakete H-31P i H-59M za udare iz daljine. Ali je veliko pitanje, da li ima LNA ovakve rakete. Tako se sumnja, da su napad izveli neki drugi avioni, jer LNA nema mogučnosti za ovakav napad. Neki sumnjaju, da bi to mogli biti Francuzi iz Malija ili Egipatski ili UAE avioni iz baza u Egiptu. U toj priči bi mogli biti i Grci, koji su takođe sklapali savezništvo sa Bengazijem.

• “No damage”
• TRT and AA say Al Watiya was targeted
• TRT says no damage
• AA says one air Defense system was hit
• Satellite image shows no damage.
