Final death toll for Tuesday 19/2/2013: More than 150 Syrians were killed yesterday
The dead include: 102 unarmed civilians, 23 rebel fighters, 5 unidentified rebel fighters and not less than 23 regime forces.
-In Reef Dimashq Province 40 civilians and 5 fighters were killed. The 5 fighters were killed during clashes with regime forces and bombardment on the cities of Duma and Harasta. 34 civilians, including 3 children and 2 women, were killed by shelling and bombardment on the cities and towns of Duma, A'in Tarma, Kafarbatna, and al-Sbeina. 4 civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed by a bombed car explosion in Jdaidat al-Fadl. 2 men were killed, 1 was shot by regime forces' sniper in Duma city and the other, from the Shab'a town, died of wounds he received by sniper fire.
-In Aleppo Province 34 civilians and 4 fighters were killed. A rebel battalion leader, from the A'miriya neighbourhood of Aleppo city, was killed during clashes with regime forces. A fighter died of wounds he received during clashes with regime forces in the Meedan neighbourhood. 1 fighter was killed during clashes in the Bab al-Nasr neighbourhood of Aleppo city. 1 fighter was killed during clashes with regime forces around the defense factories. 2 men, from the Maysar neighbourhood, were killed when a shell fell on a car they were in. 1 man was shot by sniper in the Bustan al-Basha neighbourhood. An unidentified man was shot by regime forces in the Tal'aran town of Reef al-Safeera city. 5 men were found dead, 1 of them was found in the Qweiq river of Aleppo city and the other 4 were found on the Aleppo International airport road. 25 civilians, including 10 children and 5 women, were killed when a surface-to-surface missile fell on the Jabal Badro neighbourhood of Aleppo city, at midnight of Monday-Tuesday.
-In Damascus Province 7 civilians and 4 fighters were killed. 3 fighters were killed by bombardment on the area they were in, in the Jobar neighbourhood. 1 rebel fighter was shot by sniper in the al-A'sali neighbourhood of Damascus city. 5 men were killed by bombardment on the Barza and Jobar neighbourhoods, which have been witnessing violent clashes. 1 civilian, from the Midan neighbourhood, was tortured to death after his detainment by regime forces, 2 weeks ago. A child was shot by sniper in the al-Yarmouk camp.
-In Homs Province 7 civilians and 4 fighters were killed. 3 fighters were killed during clashes with pro-regime armed men in the Mukhayam area of Homs city. 1 rebel fighter was killed by clashes in the al-Tiba town of Reef Tadmor. 2 civilians from Homs were killed, a child due to bombardment on the Nabk city of Reef Dimashq and the other, from the Nasira town, died of wounds he received when a shell fell on a car he was riding on the Homs-Damascus international road, in the Nabk city. A man was killed by warplanes' bombardment on the Rastan city. A man was killed by bombardment on the al-Safira town in Reef Aleppo. A man from the Jandar village was found dead after he was kidnapped by unknown gunmen. 2 unidentified corpses were found in the A'ssi river, near the al-Dar al-Kabeera town of Reef Homs.
-In al-Raqa Province 3 civilians and 2 fighters were killed. The 2 fighters were killed during clashes with regime forces in Reef al-Raqa. A young man was killed, today at dawn, by unidentified armed men around the al-Raqa city. A lawyer, from al-Raqa city, was shot by unidentified armed men on the al-Raqa-al-Tabaqa road. A man, from al-Raqa city, was found dead near the Furat river.
-In Hama Province 4 civilians and 1 fighter were killed. The fighter was killed during clashes with regime forces in Reef Hama. 2 children, under the age of 16, were killed by bombardment on the A'qrab town of Southern Reef Hama. A man was shot in the Hamidiya neighbourhood of Hama city. 1 civilian, from the Silmiya city, died of wounds he received by an explosion that targeted a carpet factory in Reef Hama, less than a month ago.
-In Dera'a Province 4 civilians were killed. A woman and child were killed by bombardment on the towns of Jasem and Da'el of Reef Dera'a. A man was shot by a military checkpoint in the Sahm al-Jolan area. A man was shot by regime forces on the Naseeb al-Hududi checkpoint.
-In Idlib Province 1 civilian and 2 fighters were killed. 1 fighter, from the Kafarsajna town, died of wounds he received during clashes with regime forces. 1 fighter was killed by bombardment on the Taman'a area. A man, from the Ghadfa town, was tortured to death after his detainment by regime forces, earlier.
-In Deir Izzor Province 1 civilian and 1 fighter were killed. The fighter was killed during clashes with regime forces in the Matar al-Qadeem neighbourhood. The civilian died of wounds he received by bombardment on Deir Izzor city, earlier.
