Citat:The Syrian Armed Forces managed today, Wednesday, to completely encircle Islamic rebels in Eastern Ghouta after thwarting a failed offensive to attack military posts in the area. Fierce clashes were reported since early morning in Bala where the Islamic rebels, mostly al-Nusra Front, ventured another attack to capture the Agronomic Institute. Scores have been killed and wounded in the futile assault. Having turned the tide on their favor, the government troops pushed deeper in the rebel-controlled areas, recapturing Bala al-Jadida and Haush Jarabo; thus securing the road to Marj al-Sultan airbase, and entirely besieging Deir al-Asafir and Zabdin.
