During the afternoon, a joint offensive by Jabhat al-Nusra, Jaish Al-Fustat and Faylaq Al-Rahman targeted the Jaish al-Islam controlled village of Misraba (Damascus) which is located south of Douma. A Jaish al-Islam spokesman said their fighters had repelled the attack after heavy skirmishes although he was unwilling to reveal the death toll due to rebel infighting. Meanwhile, black smoke could be seen in the area by Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions two kilometers west of the site.
