The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) launched a late night attack in southwest Deir Ezzor on Wednesday that targeted the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the Panorama Checkpoint. ISIS was able to overrun the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses at two points near the Panorama Checkpoint after the latter found themselves outnumbered by the terrorist forces.
