Citat:5 Battalion 3 FA regiment soldiers training with their Long Range Hypersonic Weapon equipment. Learning to operationally deploy and use the system helps the first battery to be ready to deploy once the system is fully fielded and LRHW increment 1 declared operational.

Citat:5-3 received 5 launchers, C2 hardware, and all training equipment by the end of 2021 to get it ready for participating in flight testing and training. The battery should receive first production #DarkEagle missiles by February 2023 for a late 2023 IOC pending testing completion.
Citat:
The second and third #LRHW batteries are expected to be fielded in FY-2025, and 2027 respectively and could feature a Data Link, and terminal seeker for the Common Hypersonic Glide Body.

Prvi prototip Typhon-a isporucen americkoj vojsci.
Citat:The U.S. Army’s first prototype Mid-Range Capability battery, also known as the Typhon Weapon System, has been delivered according to a Lockheed Martin announcement. The land-based Typhon, which is derived from the U.S. Navy’s Mk 41 Vertical Launch System, will be able to fire both ground-launched SM-6 (in a land-attack role, at least initially) and Tomahawk cruise missiles at a range that falls between that of the Army’s Precision Strike Missile and its Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon.
The Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technology Office (RCCTO), which is currently managing the Mid-Range Capability (MRC) program, accepted delivery of the first complete Typhon Weapon System (TWS), but a corresponding Army announcement did not detail when exactly this occurred. However, according to Lt. Gen. Robert Rasch, director of the Army RCCTO, the team was able to take the MRC concept from idea to delivery in just over two years so that training with the system could begin as soon as possible.

Citat:The U.S. Army has now received its first operational examples of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) short-range ballistic missiles. The PrSM is set to supplant the existing Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, an older short-range ballistic missile design that has become something of a household name thanks to the conflict in Ukraine.
The Army confirmed the receipt of an initial batch of PrSMs earlier today, but did not say how many total operational missiles it now has in inventory. The service has described these weapons as providing an early operational capability ahead of a formal declaration of reached initial operational capability with the type next year. The Army's 2024 Fiscal Year budget request pegs the current unit cost of each one of these missiles at just under $3.5 million.
