VERA -`VElika RAketa` iliti `Kosava` kako je navodno trebao da se zove raketni sistem 400mm i dometa do 140 km u JNA .

U ovom tekstu ima svakakvih podataka o nekim projektima raketa kako malog tako i srednjeg dometa u JNA/VJ ???

Jedna neformalna grupa inženjera iz Beograda je na poziv tadašnjeg načelnika generalštaba Vojske SRJ uradila idejni projekt balističkog projektila dometa 400 km. Od idejnog projekta se nije mrdnulo, jer je ta ekipa na svakom koraku sabotirana od strane sopstvene države. Projekt je nastavljen u Iraku gde ga je zaustavio rat kada je Irak voljom SAD obrisan sa mape sveta, zatim u Libiji, gde je zaustavljen „dogovorom“ Libije i SAD da se zaustave takvi projekti, da bi konačno doživeo uspeh u Pakistanu.
Imali smo i takav projekat pre 25 godina – projekt balističkog projektila dometa 400-600 kilometara! Predložio ga je Energoinvest, ali nikada nije ni pokrenut, odbijen je na vojnom savetu sa obrazloženjem da „SFRJ nije potreban takav ofanzivni projekt, jer nema nameru da vodi agresivni rat“

Dometi malo upitni ....
Sto se tice sistema Ababeel-100/ Ababil -`Lastavica` , 100 -moguce za domet 100km ? / u Iraku njegov razvoj tamo je isao u 2 pravca ...
Jedan je bio razvoj rakete na bazi cvrstog raketnog goriva i precnika 400 mm ( domet 130-140 km ) a bio je izradjen i jedan lanser 4x400 mm na vozilu-tockasu koje je prikazano na prvoj medjunarodnoj vojnoj izlozbi u Bagdadu maj 1989g .To je valjda na bazi nase R-400mm iz druge polovine 80-tih ..
 
Drugi pravac razvoja se odvijao kroz projektovanje i izradu rakete sa motorom na tecno gorivo i vertikalnim startom .

Dakle Ababil-100 je ostao u kal 400 mm i sa cvrstim gorivom a daljim razvojem se doslo do raketa `Al Fath` , na tecno gorivo i vecim precnikom ( 500mm -700mm ) malo vecim dometom ( do 180 km ) .Daljim razvojem te rakete se doslo do`Al Samud/II` . Takodje vert. start i tecno gorivo .

Ova tablica je ostala prilično ne zapažena na temi Orkana , a bilo bi dobro ovdje prebaciti i ostatak tog obaveštajnog materijala . Naime netko vrlo stručan je vrlo dataljno istražio i napisao izvještaj o radu na raketama kalibra 400 mm , da li je taj materijal negdje objavljen kompletan ili je samo parcijalno iskorišteno par skica i tablica u nekom izvještaju , to ne znam , ali sad slažem razbijenu vazu , a ne znam kako je izgledala .
Ustvari možda i znamo , ako povežemo ovu skicu sa gornjom tablicom
Mislim da se otvara jedna pandorina kutija i da ćemo imati što istraživati slijedećih pola godine
Jer ako pogledamo kolonu range ili onu range w/gg.... vidimo desetak kilometara veće domete sa onim w/gg nije li to sa gas generatorom ???
Prvi model rakete je imao dvorežimski raketni motor , za razliku od Orkana koji je imao dva odvojena motora buster i marš, znači i odvojene mlaznice, kod dvorežimskog motora je jedna mlaznica ali se preko dva različita goriva u istoj komori postiže ta razlika u potiscima . To je jedno vrlo moderno rješenje , ali tehnološki postavlja vrlo visoko neke letvice koje je teško preskočiti a da se čovjek ne ugruva.

ne znam da li je pominjano ali da podsetim da su nasi 'raketasi' sa VTIa bili na 'ekskurziji' u Iraku
negde ~2000-2003god kada je Irak naravno jos uvek bio pod sankcijama-blokadom pa je ta prica brzo
zataskana.. cime su se oni bavili tamo ??

Pretpostavljam da nisu molili krunicu niti klanjali Alahu
U Iraku se moglo puno toga naučiti, a moglo se i prodati znanje , to jest sebe , na nekoj takvoj turističkoj "ekskurziji". Malo se teško putovalo ali putovalo se.
Iračani su tada u nekom tehničkom ( balističarskom ) smislu glavinjali udarali glavom o zid malo lijevo malo desno, ali su imali dobru tehnološku osnovu , od Brazilaca su bili već ranije kupili kompletnu tehnologiju za izradu komora raketnih motora zavarivanjem cijevi od lima i to Maraging čelika , imali su tehnologiju kompozitnih raketnih goriva koja je bila VTI u nedostupna ( ostala je u Vitezu ) imali su tehnologiju namotavanja karbonskih niti , što je ostalo u Kamniku , a nešto je bilo u Prilepu , ali nije bilo u VTI u. Imali su tehnologiju grafitnih mlaznica , što je ostalo u Dubrovniku i termozaštite što je ostalo u Fenolitu u Sloveniji, Imali su već razrađene svoje motore na tečno raketno gorivo i naravno žiroskope i ostalu skalameriju, sa SCUD raketa
Dakle to je bilo obostrano iskorištavanje i učenje , a još se i lova pobrala.

Jos neke interesantne cinjenice vezane za `Ababeel-100`.Kako je ranije pominjano razvoj zapoceo u drugoj polovini 80-tih kao `VERA`( sa nazivom rakete/sistema `Kosava` ) u VTI ,rakete 400 mm u 4 x400mm- lanseru i dometa do 140 km .Razvoj prakticno nastavljen u Iraku zbog nemogucnosti istog u SFRJ/SRJ .Iracani su tokom 90-tih dosta eksperimentisali prvo sa raketom na cvrsto gorivo i dometa do 140 km/ Ababeel-100 tj Al Fath / a onda presli na razvoj rakete na tecno gorivo Al Samud/ II .
Posto su proizveli jako mali broj 4x400mm lansera( kontejnerskog tipa ) presli su na konverziju kako raketa tako i lansera .Raketi `Al Fath` je povecan precnik sa 400 mm na 500 mm i domet oko 150km uz kruzno rasturanje /CEP/ najvise 150 m .Sa cvrstog goriva se preslo na kompozitno. Lanser je postala lanserna rampa rakete Dvina na kamionu izgleda FAP3232 sistema Orkan/Ababeel-50.

The Al Fat’h was designed to carry unitary HE or submunition warheads. ISG has not found evidence to suggest the Al Fat’h was intended for use with chemical, biological, or nuclear warheads

U slucaju raketa `Al Samud I` i `Al Samud II` isli su na tecno rak. gorivo sa povecanjem precnika rakete od 500mm do 750mm u cilju povecanja dometa do 180 km cime se krsila rezolucija UN 687 o zabrani proizvodnje i unistenju svih bal .raketa dometa veceg od 150 km .Rakete su se lansirale vertikalno poput rakete SCUD( slicna rampa ) a noseca platforma je bio kamion Mercedes 8x8.

EARLY LIQUID-PROPELLANT MISSILE EFFORTS
As early as 1988, Iraq displayed ambitions to develop an indigenous, liquid-propellant ballistic missile. These early developmental efforts included the unsuccessful Fahad-300/500 and the G-1 projects. In 1992, an indigenous SA-2 replication (the Al Rafadiyan project) also failed but was tied with the Ababil-100 project. The Ababil project—initially intended as a compliance measure addressing the UN sanctions of 1991; limiting the range to 150 km and later renamed the Al Samud —began as a 500-mm-diameter missile designed by Dr. Hamid Khalil Al ‘Azzawi and Gen Ra’ad Isma’il Jamil Al Adhami at Ibn-al Haytham. The program experienced various problems, especially with the missile’s stability. In 1993, Dr. Muzhir [Modher] Sadiq Saba’ Khamis Al Tamimi, then Director of both Al Karamah and Ibn-al Haytham, proposed a missile design, which was deemed more stable due to its having an increased diameter of 750 mm. After reviewing various designs of the Ababil project, UNSCOM restricted missile programs to having a diameter of no more than 600 mm in 1994. Husayn Kamil held a competitive design review between Dr. Muzhir’s new 600-mm-diameter design and Gen Ra’ad’s 500-mm design; Gen Ra’ad’s design succeeded. After several years of limited success at MIC, Gen Ra’ad was removed as the head of the program, and Dr. Muzhir was put in charge of the Al Samud program in 1999. Muzhir experimented with the design of the missile—increasing its reliability—but work on this program ceased in 2000. All efforts were then refocused on the Al Samud II project. See the Delivery Systems Annex for further information on Dr. Muzhir and Gen Ra’ad.
DIAMETER RESTRICTION
On 17 March 1994, Rolf Ekeus, the Executive Chairman of UNSCOM, submitted a letter to ‘Amir Muhammad Rashid Al ‘Ubaydi concerning designs for the Ababil-100 liquid engine missile.
“. . . Iraq disclosed a new design for the Ababil-100 liquid engine missile still under research and development. . . this new design provided for a substantial increase of an airframe’s diameter, from 500 mm to 750 mm. Our analysis concluded that such a large diameter is not appropriate or justified for missiles with ranges less than 150 km. . . the Commission has to state that any increase of the diameter in the current design of the Ababil-100 liquid engine missile exceeding 600 mm is not permitted.”

Around 1999, Iraq was working to import new, modern, complete guidance packages from Russian and FRY entities.
Iraq was intending to purchase Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), fiber-optic systems, and high-precision machinery for indigenous production of guidance and control components.
Iraq attempted to acquire Guidance and Control (G&C) components and technology from a number of foreign sources. Iraq reportedly received a sample inertial system from the FRY, but it was considered inadequate and of poor quality (see the Delivery Systems Procurement section for more details).
A former Iraqi rocket motor test engineer claimed that experts from the FRY were involved in the development of the Al Fat’h missile system. Their involvement included analyzing instruments on the rocket motor test stand and providing an INS that was considered inadequate and of poor quality.

These submunitions were based on FRY anti-personnel/anti-tank KB-1 submunition identical to those used in the Ababil-50 submunition payload.
The submunitions are stacked on top of one another and held in place by foam molds (see Figure 12).
The KB-1 submunition is an open-ended tube, housing a copper-shaped charge (see Figure 13). Upon detonation, the body fragments and scatters the ball bearings surrounding the outer shell, and the shaped charge fires, projecting the jet forward to penetrate the target. Typically, the submunitions contain 30 g of explosives.
ISG judges that it is not possible to modify the KB-1 submunition to accommodate chemical or biological agents. Considering the small internal volume of the submunitions and risk of agent fratricide from the explosive charge, the KB-1 submunition is not a candidate for chemical or biological agent dissemination.
