Team tested the explosives inside the jug and soda can with the AHURA and got a positive read for RDX/HMX on both containers. The U.K. Bomb, MK 13 was empty of explosives and showed signs of being previously burned out. Team disposed of 1 ea U.K. Bomb, 1 ea jug (RDX/HMX) and 1 ea Soda Can (RDX/HMX) by controlled detonation at GRID 38S MB 43326 15977 and transported the rest of the scrap items to FOB Kalsu SHA Scrap Pit. Team also turned in a sample of tape from the DTMF board to WIT 14 for further exploitation. The IA did not release anything IED components to the team. No additional explosive hazards found.
