Japanci stigli u Italiju na obuku

Navodno prve slike katarskih M346.. pazarili su 6 komada,3 im isporucena

In November 2020, Italian FM Guerini Lorenzo met with his counterpart in Doha during what was said to be a visit to finalize the details of this contract. The first part of the contract is technical in nature (+public).
1.Italy agreed to provide advanced military pilot training to the Qatar Emiri Air Force [QEAF] to be completed at the International Flight Training School [IFTS] in Puglia which also involves Leonardo SpA.
2. The 2nd part of the agreement was to provide Qatar with M-346s , with sources at the time stating that Doha signed for 6 six systems but no formal agreement was never announced.
Leonardo officially confirms today to Garet Jennings 3 that " Qatar has indeed ordered 6 aircraft part of an agreement for the Qatari pilot training at the [Italian] IFTS."
And that for the moment only 3 of the M-346s have made it to Qatar.
