Citat:Qatar has added nine BAE Systems Hawk advanced jet trainer aircraft to its previously disclosed procurement of Eurofighter Typhoons.
The company announced on 29 June that the emirate has amended the contract it signed in late 2017 for 24 Typhoons to include nine Hawks (previously, it had stated its intention to buy six of the trainers).
Hawk deliveries will commence in 2021, with the first of the Typhoons following in 2022. No financials pertaining to the details of the Hawks were disclosed.

US Navy awards OBOGS contract to counter hypoxia for Goshawk pilots
Citat:The US Navy (USN) is to equip its Boeing T-45 Goshawk jet trainer aircraft with a back-up oxygen generation system in a bid to counter physiological effects being experienced by pilots, it was disclosed on 23 July.
As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Hawk-derivative aircraft, Boeing has been awarded USD12.2 million to support the development and delivery of an automatic back-up oxygen system into the T-45 aircraft through to the end of the critical design review (CDR) phase. Work will be performed in St Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed in August 2019.

Final RAAF Hawk Aircraft Ready for Upgrade
Citat:BAE Systems Australia has inducted the final aircraft into its Williamtown maintenance facility ahead of its upgrade that will make Royal Australian Air Force’s Hawk Mk127 fleet among the most advanced of its type in the world.
The project to upgrade the 33 aircraft fleet began in 2016. The upgrade of this last aircraft in 2019 will complete the strategically important Lead-In Fighter Capability Assurance Program.
