China may export J-10B fighters with Russian engines

Citat:Russia has agreed to sell advanced AL31FN engines to China to improve the J-10B's power systems and the first batch of the engines is expected this year. This will increase the life of the aircraft from the J-10A's 500 flight hours to the J-10B's 750 hours. As China begins to introduce more Russian engines in the future, all J-10B aircraft will be fitted with the AL31FN.

Toliko o fantastičnom kineskom motoru WZ10, ako će i B verzija da ima Ruske motore onda je jasno koliko su zadovoljni performansama svog čeda

Mora da su Rusi uvjetovali prodaju, da nema stavljanja tih motora na J-11.

Oko motora WS-10:
Kinezi su prilicno konzervativni, kada su motori u pitanju. Uvek se odluce za varijantu koja provereno radi.
Imaju ogranicene proizvodne kapacitete motora WS-10. Krenuli su sa izgradnjom druge fabrike, kojom ce duplirati proizvodne kapacitete.
Pored ogranicenih kapaciteta, imali su i odredjenih problema sa pouzdanoscu. Sve u svemu, odlucili su da WS-10 ugradjuju na J-11B/BS, jer su dvomotorni i daleko bezbedniji za let. Pored svega toga, J-11B je avion koji ima veci dolet, nosivost, jaci radar, pa im je i strateski vazniji.

Sa J-10B ipak zele da idu na sigurno - avion je jednomotorni, tu nema igranja.
