Embraer, SkyTech sign KC-390 LoI
Citat:Embraer and SkyTech have signed a letter of intent (LoI) for the potential provision of six KC-390 transports, which they claim have been earmarked for varying defence projects.
Signed on 5 February at the Singapore Airshow, the two companies have additionally agreed on a potential strategic collaboration to explore training and services opportunities, with Embraer looking to SkyTech as a strategic partner to add value to customer interest that it already has for the aircraft.
SkyTech is formed of two defence services companies; Portuguese company HiFly and Australian firm Adagold Aviation.

Citat:Embraer says that its prototype KC-390 airlifted suffered “a runway excursion” at its Gavião Peixoto test facility. Company says crew was unhurt and deplaned safely. The airport has one of the longest runways in the world (was a Space Shuttle alternate strip). No word on damage.

Embraer close to completing Portuguese KC-390 contract
