KC-390 ce koristiti motore V-2500-E5

However, it was not immediately clear what was meant by commercially available. IAE advertises three models of the V2500 - the A1, A5 and D5 - but not the E5.
The E5 variant will require no modifications, but only slight alterations to adapt the turbofan for a military application, IAE says.
To support Embraer's timetable IAE must deliver the first test engines in 2013, followed by production engines in 2015.
