It is possible that we are talking about reconnaissance flight - the article emphasizes that the Air Force is very impressed with the aircraft's ability to collect large volumes of intelligence information and transmit them to both ground and air users in real time.

It is also clear from the article that journalists have very little information about the activities of the F-35: the Air Force has introduced a rigid internal concealment of information ("Midur") in all that relates to the Adir and the operation of its 140th squadron. This means that even inside the Air Force something about the work of this aircraft is known only to those who need to know it directly for the position held. In addition, the Air Force commander, Major-General Amikam Norkin introduced a policy of non-response ("Amimut") to reports on the work of "Adir", i.e. does not comment, deny or confirm the various reports about this aircraft. So, previously foreign media reported that "Adir" may have participated in one or several operations in Syria. However, there were no official comments on this matter.
