S. Korea to officially deploy F-35A stealth fighters this month
Citat: South Korea plans to hold a ceremony this month to mark the operational deployment of F-35A stealth fighters, officials said Tuesday.
South Korea has so far brought in 12 F-35As, beginning with two in late March, under a plan to deploy a total of 40 fifth-generation jets through 2021. By the end of this year, one more unit is to arrive here.

Citat:U.S. Army ground artillery units recently conducted a test in which they destroyed a mock air defense system based on targeting information from a U.S. Air Force F-35A Joint Strike Fighter. The tactic allowed the joint force to destroy a mock threat while allowing the F-35 to remain in its most stealthy mode and not reveal itself by engaging it directly. This is a concept of operations that could be extremely valuable for U.S. forces in a future large-scale conflict against an opponent with dense integrated air defense network and one that could easily expand to include other assets, including unmanned aircraft and new, longer-range artillery and tactical missile systems.

US temporarily bans US Air Force F-35A LRIP aircraft use in aggressor training
Citat:The US has temporarily halted the US Air Force's (USAF) plan to use Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) conventional variant low rate initial production (LRIP) aircraft for aggressor squad training until the service provides further details to Congress.
The fiscal year 2020 (FY 2020) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), signed into law on 20 December, said the service cannot use these aircraft for aggressor squad training until the chief of staff, currently General David Goldfein, submits to lawmakers a comprehensive plan and report on the strategy for modernising its organic aggressor fleet.
