it's sad to hear there are not future plans for the J-22. As you do, we are studying the modernisation of our iar-99 trainer but it's just a trainer and it'll never be as capable or as an attack jet as Orao. it is bad we didn't preserve ours in good conditions because as we retired all the migs 21 Lancer A(the attack variant) we have now around 70 radars ELTA EL/M2001-B left and good avionics but no aircraft to put them on.
in my vision, a J-22/IAR-93 with 2 Honeywell F 124-GA-100 engines, the Elta EL/M2001-B radar, HOTAS, MFCD's, HUD Elop 921, DASH helmet for the pilot, IFF Plessey, HNS(hybrid navigation system) LISA-4000EB StrapDown and 2 more pylons under the wings would have made a very good attack aircraft. too bad that in my country you can find the most selfdestructive nation in the world and because of this we won't have aviation in few years.

Provera rada odušnog ventila. Ventil služi za regulisanje pravilnog strujanja vazduha kroz motorski kompresor.
Ima ga i na Jastrebu.
