miljannis ::Khasy ho ANTIBODY i am sure that mods can do that.Nice to have you here...

thankyou for the welcome , lacko and miljannis Mr. Green

i will try to answer your questions as well as i can

i do want to tell you that there is a lot of negative propoganda by indians and neutral views are less
for example the lca turn rate comparison videos are fast forwarded to make jft look slower etc

the blk15 ocu f16 is the most menouverable version of f16 and jft beat it 9 out of 10 times in dogfights in 2009

paf is a large airforce which roughly operates 450 fighters on active duty and 200 fighters in storage

for training, CAS and for keeping the flight hours of every pilot high-- involves a lot of money in maintance-- jft maintance is not costly - jft sorty generation is very high even from roads

jF-17 has MIL-STD-1760 data bus architecture as well as the MIL-STD-1553b, thus whatever is compatible with these two standards, can be integrated with the JF-17, provided the source codes are available.

jft design is modular-- thus any of the 5 engines can be used in jft as well as all the avionics are useable as easy as plug and play

jft can be linked to the 2 types of 7 awacs paf has

jft blk2 with probes will be refuelled by 4 paf air refuellers

7. Several other countries are in discussion as well. Each country has different requirements including the funding.
8. Catic is negotiating with the Chinese government to offer its customers low-cost loans for the purchase of aircraft. In addition, they are willing to help them establish an assembly line to produce the aircraft or its components

ANTIBODY ::china is a big country and has a large coastline to defend , so jft is not suitable for hina-- however rumours are present that china will buy 300 jft to replaceits f-7s , only when ws13 is ready
I guess to boost production, and future sales to foreign customers. But it doesn't make much sense to me because they will introduce into PLAAF service new fighters J-10B, J-11B, and advanced supersonic trainers L-15, JL-9.

it was thought that the jh7 stealthy version would be inducted by china , however cac has come up with a stealthy jft aswell-- so the competition would be interesting --

bear in mind jft, j10b and jxx , all are cac products and the technology of one fighter is transferred to the other-- e.g dsi tech from jft was transferred to j10b--- j10b radar and irst transferred to jft

jft and j10b are testbeds to checkout new tech of jxx

jft and j10b , both 4.5 gen fighters however still have the old conventional design limitations which jxx does not face

rumours of single engined 5th gen fighter for paf are also in the air

I agree, but there is that problem with the engine for the JF-17. Al-31 (J-10 & J-11) and WP-13F (JL-9) are already in use. What is from the logistical point of view more rational. Of course time will tell.

The next 50 ordered may be the BLK-2 with SD-10B as its primary weapon mounted on outer wing pylon. Sd-10B is said to have more range, smaller volume and lesser weight and is more comparable to the AIM-120C5

The BLK-2 is also said to get the IRST and an Aesa Radar. The strangest news is that it may have a rotating disc. The usual perception is that AESA has a fixed dish.

Chinese have succeeded in developing avionics with DRFM and it is expected to be part of JF-17. This should immencely help Thunder in defending against WVR and BVR attack. In case of a missile attack, HUD will easily identify the missile chasing the aircraft.

It looks more likely that Blk-2 may not have any Italian avionics as was under consideration. DRFM and deplyment of SD-10B points to an all Chinese avionics which are far more superior than the ones in the ealy Thunders.
