Nezaboravna scena iz filma Put u svemir (kod nas je tako preveden) - ovo sam gledao kao klinac negde 84/85 i za mene je film bio praznik za oči

A TF-104 Starfighter Has Flown Again In Italy After Almost 20 Years

After almost 20 years since its retirement in 2004, an F-104 Starfighter flew again today in Italy at Grosseto Air Base on Jun. 12, 2023. The aircraft, which now belongs to Starfighters Aerospace and sports the FAA serial N991SF, is the former Italian Air Force TF-104G-M that operated for more than 30 years as MM54258 with the 20° Gruppo (Squadron), the Italian F-104 OCU (Operational Conversion Unit) based at Grosseto.

The Ferrari, driven by Formula 1 driver Gilles Villeneuve, won the match. On 17 September 1989 the Italian Air Force decided to commemorate this race by donating this F-104G to Ferrari, painted in the well-known red Ferrari colours.
