Zanimljiva je prica o odrzavanju F-22, ako se zanemari stelt sam avion je znatno laksi za odrzavanje od F-15 i F-16. Kaze pilot da su motori odlicni sto se tice pouzdanosti.

Takodje objasnjava se vektorski potisak (razliciti rezimi zavisno od brzine, pre svega se koristi kod malih brzina i kod vecih brzina), napredan FBW i super krstarenje ovo zadnje kao vrlo bitna mogucnost aviona a ne kako sto zvanicno se predstavlja kao sminka (zbog F-35 koji moze da sanja duzi let na 1.2Maha)

F-22 Raptor has issue with landing gear at Langley AFB during training
Citat: Officials are investigating after there was an issue with the landing gear of an F-22 Raptor during routine training at Langley Air Force Base.
Nicholas Delapena, the public affairs officer for Langley, said there were reports of an incident that happened around 1 p.m.
The pilot didn’t sustain any life-threatening injuries, Delapena said. The pilot was taken to the Langley Air Force Base Hospital for evaluation and then released with no major injuries.
The pilot did not need to eject from the aircraft, Delapena said.
