Citat:Deliveries of the first Boeing F-15SA Eagles to the Royal Saudi Air Force are impending, the IDEX Show Daily has learned, following the solution of an unspecified problem with the aircraft’s all-new digital fly-by-wire (FBW) flight control system.
The first of three production F-15SAs being used as prototypes made its maiden flight at St Louis on 20 February 2013, beginning what was expected to be an 18-month flight test effort that was scheduled to end in the summer of 2014. Beyond brief announcements of the rollout and first flight, Boeing (Stand 02-A20) has always declined to make any comment on the F-15SA programme, but there have been reports of unspecified problems.

114th FS wins AETC 2014 Fighter Squadron of the Year
Citat: The 114th Fighter Squadron, part of the 173rd Fighter Wing, took top honors out of all the Air Education and Training Command’s F-15 and F-16 squadrons from around the United States and was named the 2014 Top Fighter Squadron for the fourth time.
Citat:The U.S. Air Force is deploying 12 F-15C belonging to the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard, Jacksonville, Fla., to Europe.
The Eagles, part of the first ANG TSP (Theater Security Package) will first operate from Leeuwarden airbase, in the Netherlands, where they will take part in the Frisian Flag mutinational exercise, then, they are expected to move east and be temporarily based at Graf Ignatievo, Bulgaria.
