Najstariji aktivni F-15.
Citat: NASA 836 is the oldest F-15 Eagle still flying, and it's also the fastest. When NASA acquired this F-15B, 74-0141, from the the Hawaii ANG in 1993, they made the airframe about 1,000 pounds lighter and fit it with more powerful F100-PW-220 engines. It routinely flies out past Mach 2 and has conducted a wide variety of test programs, from the Quiet Spike Program, tests of space shuttle tiles, supersonic natural laminar flow experiments, digital flight and engine control research, advanced/experimental propulsion systems, and various sonic boom experiments. 836 is a workhorse. I also spoke to some of 836's crew, and they proudly claim their jet is the best-maintained F-15 on Earth. When I photographed 836 here in 2022, it was participating in a "quiet boom" test program aimed at minimizing a sonic booms by modulating the waveform (shape) of a boom's sound waves through aircraft attitude and altitude profiles. 14-15 October 2022, Edwards AFB, California.

Citat:F-15E touch down on taxiway
In a bold demonstration of adaptability, an F-15E Strike Eagle from the 366th Operations Group of the United States Air Force successfully landed on a taxiway instead of the designated runway at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Feb. 21st.
This unorthodox maneuver marked the culmination of Phase One of Operation Garrison Forward, a two-part exercise designed to test the 366th Fighter Wing’s ability to operate under austere conditions.

Ameri rade na modernizaciji
Lakenheath F-15Es getting the APG-82(V)1 radar
Citat:Change is sweeping through the hangars of the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath, England. The reason? The wing’s fleet of F-15E Strike Eagles is undergoing a major upgrade, transitioning from the legacy APG-70 radar system to the advanced Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, the APG-82(V)1. As part of the transition, the Enhanced Aircraft Radar Test Station (EARTS) of the APG-70 is being phased out, marking the end of an era for the Wing’s radar maintenance procedures.
