Citat:Black Hornet
Matt Ellis provided us with some fine pictures again. This time he managed to picture a black F/A-18C Hornet of the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC, pronounced NAW-DIK), "Top Gun", originating from NAS Fallon (NV).
This 'legacy Hornet' (BuNo 164678 and code 46) is seen - in less fortunate weather circumstances - departing NAS Fort Worth JRB (TX) on 5 February 2019. The black bird has a striking dark grey/black Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker-style adversary scheme. The scheme is specifically reminiscent of Su-30s in service with the Russian Federation - Naval Aviation (AVMF-RF).
