Infact Israel are aggressively marketing this radar in various sizes to India and even displayed it at Aero India-2005 ... its also noteworthy they also signed a deal with India to fit India's Sea Harrier's with the EL/M 2032 and Derby BVR missiles in addition to other avionic upgrades

Naisao sam na neke price da je Indijsko vazduhoplovstvo imalo velike probleme sa Migom 29.
Valjda ta prva serija koja je poslata nije ispunil ono sto je obecavala. Pa se govori o velikom broju otkaza motora i da je adekvatno odrzavanje i remont bio komplikovan. Prvo zbog ne postojanja adekvatnih mogucnosti u Indiji da se to izvrsi i drugo sto je Rusija daleko. Tako da transport aviona oduzima vreme (probijaju se rokovi) i ispada skup.
Tako da su poprilicno nezadovoljni sa avionom...
Koliko ima istine u ovome i koliko je ipak rec o aljkavosti i nestrucnosti Indijaca?
Ovo drugo. Ista takva priča krenula je od Indusa kada su dobili prve serije aviona MiG-21 koga su jetko nazivali - ''naš sportski, nazvučni avion''. Ono što je izlazilo iz HAL padalo je kao kruške...
