sto se finansija tice, trenutno je northrop u debelom minusu sto se tice ovog posla.
tek ce sa lot5/6 biti na nuli.

mislim da bi se u lokhidu slogirali i derektori i investitori da ovako posluju, urade obecano i na vreme, zamisli. treba to razvuci sto duze i napraviti sto vise njesra pa traziti onako bezobrazno pare da ispravis ono sto namerno useres.

Northrop Grumman Loses A Billion Dollars On The B-21 Program

On top of the loss, Northrop Grumman does not expect to make a profit on the first five production lots of B-21 bombers.
Northrop Grumman has disclosed a loss of nearly $1.2 billion on the B-21 Raider stealth bomber program. The company also now says it expects to take a financial hit on each of the first five low-rate production lots of these aircraft. This all comes just days after the Pentagon disclosed it had awarded the first B-21 low-rate production contract. Still, a loss at this time pales in comparison to the revenue the program could generate for the company over its lifetime, if it's executed as currently envisioned.

On Northrop Grumman's end, the B-21 program incurred a "pre-tax charge" of just under $1.56 billion, according to press release the company put out ahead of a quarterly earnings call early today. Tax-related offsets reduced the net loss to $1.17 billion.

While the B-21 “is the future of our bomber force,” Allvin told the SASC that fresher, more effective technology may appear before the planned B-21 production run is complete, making the Air Force hesitant to commit to any more just yet.

One hundred B-21s “is the program of record,” Allvin said under questioning from Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.). Northrop Grumman is the B-21 prime contractor.

“I think we’re not going to reach that number until probably the mid-2030s and beyond,” he said. “I think there are other technological advancements that we would see to be able to augment that and have a better mix … before we commit to that as being the platform” that will serve as the backbone of the future bomber force “beyond that.”
