EU izdvaja 600 miliona eura za zajednicku kupovinu 12 (verovatno novih DHC-515) koji ce biti korisceni zajednicki, po potrebi, i bice stacionirani u Francuskoj, Italiji, Portugalu, Spaniji, Grckoj, Hrvatskoj.

Citat:The Commission is financing the purchase of new firefighting planes to increase the aerial firefighting capacity of rescEU, the EU Civil Protection Mechanism's strategic crisis response reserve. €600 million in EU funds will be used to purchase 12 new planes, which will be hosted across 6 EU Member States: Croatia, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Spain.

These new planes will be used to extinguish fires across the European Union, in particular during the difficult summer months when lives, homes and livelihoods are coming increasingly under threat to large scale forest fires. They will be delivered as of 2027, with the existing rescEU transition planes operating until the whole fleet is operational.

Spain orders seven DHC-515 Firefighter amphibious aircraft
Citat:On 19 April 2024, the Spanish government announced a €375 million upgrade to its fleet of firefighting amphibious aircraft, ordering seven new De Havilland Canada DHC-515 Firefighter amphibious aircraft, two of which will be procured through the European Civil Protection Mechanism. The current fleet of older CL-215T and CL-415 aircraft will also be modernized with European funds.

^ Dobro zaljeva. Takav avion je gotovo pa obavezan u ova vremena. A nije ni skup koliko vode nosi i košta uspoređujuči ga sa helikopterom. Predugo smo čekali s nabavom.

Слика нажалост моја.

Са македонске стране смо видели 4 авиона са пловцима (Air Tractor или сл) како у формацији лете и гасе пожар, али пошто сам возио нема слика.

Previously part of the United States Coast Guard fleet, these aircraft are being transformed to enhance our already powerful aerial response to wildland fires; protecting communities and natural resources throughout California. Capable of delivering 4,000 gallons of retardant in a single flight, these airtankers will add to our capabilities in pursuit of keeping 95% of fires to ten acres or less.
