Note that RF-90969 previously flew with code 25 yellow.When RF-90969 was re-coded to 28 yellow, the code 25 yellow was assigned to RF-90967.
Finally, the crash site location was established in the area of Myrotske, Bucha Raion, Kyiv Oblast (50.592882, 30.146243). An eyewitness confirmed the date of the shot down as 7 March 2022.
The pilot podpolkovnik Oleg Chervov, of the 266th Attack Aviation Regiment, did not survive. In the mural created in his memory there is even a Su-25 code 28.
