Kineski su isto bez kanara, isto vazi i za venezuelske, vijetnamske i indonezijske. Indijske, Alzirske i Malejziske su sa kanarima.
Citao sam nesto da su verovatno oni sa kanarima koji imaju tezi i jaci radar sa pasivno elektronskim skeniranjem (PESA), "Bars", a oni sa obicnim puls-dopler nemaju kanare. Mozda i kanarai idu samo uz one sa TVC-om ZBOG TVC-a, dok oni bez TVC-a nemaju kanare jer im ne trebaju.
Ruski SU-30M2 (MK2 za Rusko RV) nemaju kanare, dok ovi sad naruceni Su-30SM (modernizovani MKI za Rusko RV) imaju. Prve je pravio Knaapo, druge pravi verovatno Irkut.
Oni iz Knaapo-a (MKK, MK2, M2, MKV, MK2V) su bez kanara, oni iz Irkuta (MKI, MKM, MKA, SM) su sa kanarima, ma da to nije zapisano "pravilo", tj. Knaapo isto moze da napravi sa kanarima ako se tako naruce, isto tako i Irkut moze da napravi bez, ali uglavnom tako ide, tj. dali ima ili nema odredjuje verovatno kod koga narucis i koju opremu avion ima, a ne optika.

Teski PESA radari su doveli do remecenja balansa aviona pa su kanari bili primenjeni kako bi pomerili aerodinamicki centar ka napred i uspostavili optimalan balans aviona.
To je usput dovelo do povecanja ukupnog uzgona aviona i odlicnog ponasanja na velikim napadnim uglovima.
Mane su poznate i ispoljavaju se u vidu povecanog otpora vazduha sto je dovelo do smanjenja max brzine, vece tezine i do povecanog RCS aviona.
Kanari ne idu samo uz avion koji ima TVC, jer se zna da stari SU-35 i danasnji SU-35UB imaju kanare iako nemaju TVC.
Kod novog SU-35S kanari su uklonjeni jer je primenjena najnovija digitalna tehnologija pri konstruisanju radara i elektronskih sistema, sto je dovelo do znatnog smanjenja tezine u nosnom delu aviona, cime je uspostavljen (vracen) mnogo bolji balans aviona koji je potpomognut svarsenijim FCS sistemom cime su se dobile izvanredne letne karakteristike.

Ugandi isporucen nov kontigent SU-30...a izgledami i da je doslo do incidenta prilikom
poletanja jednog od vec ranije isporucenih SU-30.

The UPDF on Sunday received additional jet fighters from Russia as it emerged that one of those in the batch shipped in three months ago has been grounded due to engine failure.
A highly-placed military source told this newspaper that the Sukhoi Su-30 aircraft was marooned after it sucked a bird into the engine shortly after takeoff from Entebbe military airbase.
The September 8 incident infuriated the army that has asked the Civil Aviation Authority to explain how the watchdog’s Bird Hazard & Wildlife Control unit informed the airport’s Control Tower to clear the flight.
Witnesses said fire began sparking from one of the jet fighter’s engines following which, the crew was promptly alerted as emergency staff on the ground scrambled to evacuate other planes parked on the apron.
A Ugandan pilot, who apparently was test-flying the jet under instructions by a Russian, reportedly switched the engine on-and-off until he landed safely.
The affected jet, according to a source we cannot name due sensitivity of the matter, remained grounded for three weeks until Rosoboronexport, the Russian state arms company supplying the Su-30 fighter planes, fixed its engine under an obtaining three-year warrant.
UPDF Airforce Spokesman, Capt. Kiconco Tabaro, yesterday said the “environmental hazard” incident had not strained relations between the military and CAA officials as alleged.
Mr Bbale Luyinda, the head of the Bird Hazard unit, was being targeted by investigators, a source said. The incident, Capt. Tabaro said, was not a “major incident” at the airbase. “Nothing serious happened to our jets but they are not immune to environmental hazards such as bird ingestion. All the jets are in good shape and are flying well,” he added.
Government acquired the jets that can undertake combat missions within a 3,000 kilometre range, at $740 million (Shs1.8 trillion), and central bank governor, Mr Emmanuel Mutebile, later revealed to UK’s Financial Times newspaper that President Museveni forced him to raid foreign exchange reserves to pay for the military hardware.
CAA Spokesman Ignie Igunduura said he was not aware of the bird ingestion by the jet fighter but would not be surprised because Entebbe is a gazzetted bird sanctuary.
He said: “Bird hazard is a big challenge; we need to share the airspace with them but sometimes they interfere with our operations. We can control but not completely eliminate their ingestion by planes.”
Confidentiality
In yesterday’s telephone interview, Capt. Tabaro declined to confirm arrival of the new consignment of Sunday. “We don’t disclose the shipment of military equipment or movement of our personnel because their safety can be endangered,” he said.
A former jet fighter pilot said it was unlikely the military would be able to maintain the combat aircrafts properly within its current budget allocation. He said it (the army) would not have bought the fuel guzzlers if it had no resources to maintain them.

Jedna ispravka, kanari nisu postavljeni da bi pomerili balans na napred (to vec tezi radar radi, znaci to nije sta je pozeljeno) nego da proizvode uzgon u prednjem delu, tj. da "podignu" nos jer je sad tezi pa treba vise "snage" da bi ga drzao u ravnom polozaju sa avionom. Neznam kako bolje da objasnim, ali nadam se da se razume na sta mislim.

Mislim da me nisi dobro razumeo.
Ja sam rekao da su kanari pomerili aerodinamicki centar aviona ka napred, sto je u principu to o cemu ti pricas
Kada je aerodinamicki centar iza centra mase, onda je avion staticki stabilan, a kada je aerodinamicki centar ispred centra mase onda je to avion "nestabilne" konfiguracije.
Kako je kod MKI centar mase pomeren u napred zbog vece tezine radara, bilo je neophodno pomeriti i aerodinamicki centar kako bi avion zadrzao svoja "nestabilna" svojstva.
Naravno pomeranje aerodinamickog centra ka napred je izvrseno uz pomoc kanara preko generisanja uzgona u toj oblasti.
