Jedna od solucija bi mozda mogla biti da su se recimo piloti u jedinicama zalili na preglednost npr u fazi sletanja .E sad ako je to tako postavlja se pitanje zasto onda nisu predislocirali OEPS na varijantama S/P i UB koji su isli na remont .

Njih je u zadnjem periodu bilo bas dosta .

Ovo za SM3 je jasno ,bili namenjeni PLAAF ali ovo oko SM mi je nejasno .Ako jeste zbog prikljucaka zasto nisu ugradjeni a ako jeste zbog preglednosti zasto to nisu uradili na ostalim .

USSVoyager ::pa zasto su onda OEPS kod sm verzija pomerili u desno ?verovatno tako manje "smeta"pilotu.

Jedna starija fotka ,na krajevima krila naravno ometacki kontejner `Sorbcija` trebalo bi da je varijanta P ,S navodno nosi Sorbcije ispod krila ?

pa o tome sam i govorio na prosloj strani..vrv smeta pri sletanju..
puno veca je preglednost pri sletanju ako je OEPS pomeren u desno

Systems & Avionics
The basic Su-27 is fitted with the SUV-27 fire control system, which incorporates the RLPK-27 radar sighting system, OEPS-27 electro-optical sighting system, SEI-31 integrated indication system, IFF interrogator and built-in test system. The fire control system in integrated with the PNK-10 flight navigation system, radio command link, IFF system, data transmission equipment and EW self-defense system.

The OEPS-27 electro-optical sighting system consist of the OLS-27 infrared/laser search-and-track system (IRST) and the Shchel-3UM helmet-mounted target designator and is controlled by the Ts-100 digital computer. The OLS-27 sensor is placed forward of the cockpit canopy in the centre. The system acquires and tracks aerial targets by their thermal signatures. The helmet-mounted sight and the laser range finder of the IRST can also be used to visually acquire and determine coordinates of air and surface targets.


The SEI-31 integrated indication system provides flight, navigation and sighting data on the ILS-31 head-up display (HUD) and CRT.

Za ono boldovano sam nalazio podatke da su sa Schel-3UM piloti mogli da navode recimo H-29T sa nekih front. bombardera i jurisnika ... e sad koliko je to tacno ....

Mozda takvu sposobnost ima recimo Su-27UBM i jos neke visenamenske varijante ?

Ovako laicki razmisljam, u tom slucaju bi pilot morao da usmeri nos aviona ka zemlji kako bi laserski snop sa KOLS mogao da bude neprekidno da meti

Upravo tako ,dakle samo u poniranju u slucaju da nema podvesni kontejner za tu svrhu .Inace na temi imamo skice i pojasnjenja samog sistema OEPS samo bi trebalo naci to ,malo vise str. unazad . Smile

Evo kako su svojevremeno na KP forumu komentarisali ovo oko pozicije OEPS kod SM

The first has already been mentioned, for inflight refueling operations to keep the EO head clear of spilt fuel and to reduce the chance of it getting hit by the basket. (not to make way for the fuel lines, which of course are no where near the centreline in front of the pilot.)
The second is to improve the pilots forward view down the nose of the aircraft, particularly important for landing ops on carriers (ie Su-33) though also important for landing on short rough airstrips.
The third is to improve the downward view of the IRST sensors themselves to make them more useful for Marked Target Detection and for marking targets itself. Particularly on the SMT and M upgraded Mig-29s where the LRF has target marking and marked target tracking capability added.
