Toni ::Od ranije spominjana Bocvana
Nekako mi je ovo bajkovito. 8 TA-50 i 16 Gripena. Jeste da imaju para, ali ovo je ogroman skok u odnosu na 5 CF-5 i 5 PC-7.

Svedski izvor je da kao pregovaraju o 8 C/D iz svedskih stokova ali nista vise od toga, niti da je nesto gotovo. Mada vise tipujem na Korejce jer su "vec vidjeni" tamo i jos od ranije su spominjani, i prosle godine na IDEX 2015 su rekli Tajland( i narucili su 4 T-50TH), Bocvana, Peru...
Imaju oni 15 CF-5

Sa Koreancima u paketu idu i avioni i tenkovi, koliko sam video. Sa druge strane i Gripen je logičan izbor ako uzimaju polovnjake, jer onda održavanje mogu da udruže sa komšijama. Ko bi ga znao šta će da odluče.

Koliko znam u Juznoj Africi nije izgradjen servisni centar, a kako je njihovo RV, a i vojska u rasulu nebih se oslanjao na njih...Tamo je sve gore i gore...

Lokid vec sprema postrojenje gde bi proizvodili T-50A za USAF
Citat:The facility has started to convert Hangar 11, a former military hanger built in 1958, to house the production of the T-50A. Erickson said the conversion includes a new interior roof, construction of office space and a fresh coat of paint on the floor. The intent, contract award pending, is to be able to produce four T-50As per month in Greenville.
Erickson said if Lockheed Martin is awarded the multibillion dollar contract, sometime in late 2017 or early 2018, the facility will expand its workforce from the 600 already employed in Greenville to nearly 800 between 2019 and 2022. Erickson said that additional workforce could come from existing Lockheed Martin employees and from sources such as aviation training students at Greenville Technical College, for which Lockheed Martin has funded a $25,000 scholarship.
“We have a lot of people who are retired military and some out of Shaw (Air Force Base), so they have F-16 and fighter jet experience,” Erickson said.
The initial contract for the U.S. Air Force will be for an estimated 350 of the new trainers. However, Erickson said, factoring in the potential for international sales of the jet, that number could climb to between 500 and 1,000. The focus, if awarded the contract, will be on the initial order from the Air Force and, after that, the government can determine the direction with any international sales.
Erickson said the infrastructure already established at SC-TAC is already in place for Lockheed Martin to begin production of the aircraft. He said that will be an added benefit to the Lockheed Martin-Korea Aerospace bid to the Air Force. That means the only focus for the company is to retrofit Hangar 11 in the hopes that a bid award will lead to expanded production of the jet.

Ostaje nejasno da li ce imati radar i kakvo oruzje... Nije konkretno postojao zahtev za svim tim niti je ekskluzivno za njih, sve inicijativa KAI tako da mogu da ponude i ostalim musterijama ove novosti.
Bice smesno ako ga ne izaberu, savrsen za njih kao zamena za T-38. M-346 ne moze da pruzi sve sto bi oni hteli, a valjda nece odluciti da daju Boingu/SAAB-u ili Northropu( dobili su bombarder i moguce 6. generaciju lovca) da prave trenazer od nule Sto rekose ovi iz Lokida kada su odustali od pravljenja svog i podrzali T-50A, kada smo krenuli da radimo nacrt na kraju smo dobili odlican avion ali koji ne radi nista sto vec ne radi T-50... prosto nema potrebe da se izmislja topla voda.
Jedino je bilo kuknjave od strane Boinga kako jadni propadaju i nemaju nista novo pa da se slucajno ne desi da im daju ovaj tender...ali vec je bilo poziva da se uzme gotovo resenje. T-38 imaju bukvalno 50 godina.
