Pa Irak baš sad deluje kao poprilično razumno vazduhoplovstvo. Doduše imaju malo previše tipova školskih/lakih borbenih letilica ali kao što reče kolega, Čehe su dobili za smešne pare a za cepanje drekavaca po pustinji su ok. Meni se npr. jako sviđa kombinacija F-16, T-50, FA-50. Prava stvar za manje zemlje. Imaš pravi lovac za kontrolu VaP-a, plus unificiran LIFT i jurišnik koji je pritom vrlo blizu po performansama sa glavnim lovcem, slična obuka i održavanje a niža cena. Kod Rusa bi pandan u budućnosti mogao biti MiG-35S, JaK-130 plus neki jurišnik na bazi JaK-130.

Nemaju T-50, to je FA-50 samo je oznaka T-50IQ. Cista borbena verzija.

KAI, Busan BEXCO to negotiate export of FA-50 with Senegal

Citat:Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) will be participating in the event to be held in Busan BEXCO with the annual '2018 African Development Bank Annual Meeting' (AfDB) from 21 to 25.

More than 100 domestic companies will participate in the exhibition hall. KAI will exhibit major models such as the KT-1 basic trainer, FA-50 light aircraft, and the Suron on-board helicopter, as well as the T-50 simulator, and will also promote the export of FA-50 with KT-1's existing client, Senegal.

In addition, it plans to inform KAI's aircraft excellence to the leaders of countries such as Botswana, Angola, Kenya, and Ghana, which are major African countries.

A KAI official said, "Domestic aircraft have proven their stability and performance through a number of export experiences." He emphasized this point to African customers and said they will pioneer new export markets. Meanwhile, KAI exports 145 aircraft to 7 countries.

Gov’t to acquire a dozen more FA-50 from S. Korea — Lorenzana
