ANTIDOT has three variants: Bayraktar TB2 armed UAV, ANKA UCAV, and AKINCI UCAV.
ANTIDOT's smallest variant for Bayraktar TB2, also called Mini EW Pod, can collect signals from radars and perform jamming for self-protection.
The larger variant for the AKINCI UCAV UAV EW Pod first revealed in IDEF'23, has a greater jamming output and covers communication bands, too. The new mock-up shows the addition of cooling systems to support the increased jamming output.
ADEX 2024 was a scene for the new variant for ANKA, likely between the Mini EW Pod and the UAV EW Pod in terms of performance. ASELSAN might have gone for a middle ground due to ANKA's greater generator capacity than Bayraktar TB2 from the PD170 turbodiesel engine. The ESM and ECM capabilities are also likely to be similar to those of the UAV EW Pod for AKINCI UCAV.
In addition to under-wing EW pods for UAVs/UCAVs, ASELSAN is developing the large-sized ASOJ-234U pod with electronic support and attack capabilities specifically for AKINCI UCAV's UAV SOJ configuration. Due to its size and weight, the larger pod will be carried on the central pylon and will perform closer to EW pods used on fighter aircraft.
