SOFINS 2023: A French Loitering Munition from the Indian Ocean
Citat:Not many companies involved in aeronautics consider rhomboidal wings. One of them is French, however it is based far away from the Hexagon, in the Reunion Island, over 9,300 km from Paris.

Here a group of engineers developed the R2-150 aircraft, a 15 kg airframe with a 1.5 meters wingspan designed for coastal and maritime surveillance applications.

Shortly before SOFINS the company unveiled its R2-120 Raijin, the name coming from the Japanese god of lightning, thunder and storms, which fits it well as the new product is not made for reconnaissance but for strike, being a loitering munition.
This is derived from the previously described reconnaissance UAS and has the same architecture.
