Virus je po prvi put identifikovan pre 15-ak dana.
Kazu da je i ranije bilo problema sa bezbednoscu podataka, kao na primer u leto 2009-e kada su kod irackih pobunjenika pronasli "dane i dane, sate i sate" video materijala koje su snimali Predatori. Za skeniranje video-signala koriscen je softver SkyGrabber, vredan celih 26 USD.
