Inovativnija aerodinamika je ostavljena za sledeču generaciju. Shodno ugradnjenoj naprednoj elektronici i direktno vezano za gornji post kolege @djox , Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk Block 40 , kada se pogleda mogućnost dugog ostajanja u vazduhu, osmatranja sa visine 18 Km i dubokog nadgledanja bojišta isti je u funkciji savremenog ratovanja .

- Northrop Grumman presented June 4, 2015 the first HALE UAV (High Altitude Long Endurance) Global Hawk for NATO, dubbed "NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) aircraft."
Control of the Global Hawk was decided in 2012 during the NATO summit. In Chicago, the countries of the alliance had then signed the acquisition agreement five drones "strategic" Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk Block 40.
Northrop Grumman announced that the system was developed in collaboration with European manufacturers including Airbus Defence and Space, Kongsberg and Selex ES. A total of 15 industrial countries (the 28 NATO) were involved in the AGS program. The 28 countries of the alliance will then participate to support the system in the long term. The purchase of UAVs and associated equipment and staff training, represent a cost of over one billion euros, according to NATO. The operating costs of AGS over the next twenty years will exceed 2 m €. France does not participate in the acquisition program.
With a battery life of 30 hours, the AGS is equipped payload MP-RTIP radar (Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program), it will be also equipped with imaging systems. The Global Hawk is able to monitor the situation on the ground from an altitude of 18 km. The lack of information means such that only the US and the UK were then able to implement, had again been demonstrated during the intervention of NATO in Libya 2011.
NATO regularly uses the means of its member states but also has own. The alliance and operates a fleet of 17 planes airborne early warning E-3A AWACS and three strategic airlift C-17. One of the AWACS will soon be removed from service for budgetary reasons.

Juzna Koreja dobija prva dva RQ-4B Global Hawk u 2018.godini
