Оно што је битно је да су овде уписана тактичка дејства Twelfth Air Force, која је прва ступила у дејство у Југославији, почев од октобра 1943. Прва бомбардовања су била Скопље 18. октобра и Ниш 20. октобра 1943. Нисам сигуран да ли су обрађивана у овој теми, јер се ради о тактичким дејствима. Како је ово општи преглед, у њему се вероватно налазе само битнија дејства.
Стратешка дејства 15 ААФ која су почела крајем 43-е су већ обрађивана у овој теми.
У прилогу је избор тактичких дејстава 12 ААФ на територији Југославије у периоду октобар 1943. - март 1944. Унесени су само делови који се односе на Југославију. Могуће је да су нека дејства прескочена, ако нису уписана под Југославију.

(Twelfth Air Force): P-38's escort shipping off Rhodes, hit Antimachia Airfield in the Dodecanese Islands, and attack vessels in the harbors of Corfu, Greece and Kotor, Yugoslavia, and off Tivat, Yugoslavia and hit targets of opportunity in the Aegean Sea and along its E coastline.

(Twelfth Air Force): XII Bomber Command B-25's bomb the marshalling yard at Skoplje, Yugoslavia; P-38's follow with a strafing mission, damaging or destroying several locomotives and vehicles.

(Twelfth Air Force): In Italy, XII Bomber Command B-17's, B-26's, B-25's and P-38's bomb the Rome-Casale landing ground, Marcigliana and Cerveteri Airfields, railroad bridges at Montalto di Castro, Grosseto, and 13 miles (21 km) SE of Orvieto, and the marshalling yard at Nish, Yugoslavia obstructing the Belgrade-Sofia line;
Fighter-bombers also hit shipping along Dalmatian coast of Yugoslavia, claiming 2 vessels sunk.
