On 14 December 2018, Airbus announced that the Hungarian Ministry of Defence has ordered sixteen H225M multi-purpose helicopters, including training and support in a multi-million dollar contract. The contract is part of the Hungarian Government ambitious ‘Zrinyi 2026’ armed forces modernisation programme. The Hungarian armed forces will be able to rely on the Airbus H145M / H225M tandem to support and cover all of the major military missions, from light utility, tactical transport, combat search and rescue up to light attack. The H145Ms were ordered back in June 2018 (see our report at https://www.facebook.com/Scramblemagazine/posts/2271209539572234).
The H225Ms will be flown by the Magyar Légierö (ML, Hungarian Air Force) and will most probably be based at Szolnok (Hungary) where currently the MH 86. 'Szolnok' Helicopter Ezred is based, operating the Mi-8/-17 of the ML. The new H225Ms will replace the aeging Mi-8/-17s.
Like the H145Ms, the H225Ms will also be equipped with the HForce weapon management system as well as modern and advanced avionica, communication suit, a four axis autopilot. The night vision capable H225Ms will be used for transport, combat search and rescue, and special operations missions.
With this contract, Hungary becomes the 9th country to have selected the H225M. The Super Puma variant is now used by France, Brazil, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, and has recently been ordered by Kuwait and Singapore.

Bice interesantno videti koliko godina eksploatacije je potrebno da ih vecinu prizemlje i vrate se na Mi-8/17, jer nece biti u stanju ovo da odrzavaju. U svakom smislu...

Zato i kazem bice interesantno videti da li ce PPPP, kako ga vika Dobri, izneti vajnu ideju da predju komplet na H225M
