Ako je to u konusu Arbalet koji je ono uredjaj na glavcini rotora ?

Flight tests have begun of the “Arbalet” ((crossbow)) helicopter radar developed by the Fazotron-NIIR Corporation, an informed source in the Russian defense industrial complex reported to Interfax-AVN on Thursday.
”The ‘Arbalet’ radar is undergoing flight tests on the first Ka-52 prototype helicopter developed by the Kamov firm. It is still difficult to talk about any kind of period for completion of the new radar complex’s flight tests on the Ka-52 in connection with the unavailability of estimates of the volume of financing for this subject in 2004,” the source said.
He explained that the allocation of funds in accordance with a state defense order line item, as practice shows, takes place only in the spring of the current financial year.
“That is, tasks for 2004 in part of the volume of 'Arbalet’ radar tests on the Ka-52 may be formulated in an agreement between the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense and the Kamov firm not earlier than the spring of 2004,” the agency source said.
At the same time, according to him, completion of the “Arbalet” radar tests in 2004 is not being ruled out.
The multimode dual-band coherent impulse "Arbalet” complex operates in two frequency ranges and uses frequency agility ((PERESTROYKA CHASTOTY)) and switching polarization of the ranging signals. The “Arbalet” provides detection and coordinate measuring of ground and surface targets, the selection and discrimination of moving ground and surface targets, ground mapping with an active beam, target designation for air-to-surface missiles, the use of guided air-to-air missiles, the detection and coordinate measuring of aerial targets, low-altitude flight and the detection of dangerous ground obstacles.
The radar has air cooling; required power is 3 kilowatt amps ((kVtA)); service life is 200 hours; weight is 140 kilograms.
The “Arbalet” allows the detection of "tank” type ground targets at a range of 8 – 12 kilometers. In the air-to-air mode, the radar detects in a circular zone attack aircraft types of targets at a range up to 15 kilometers and “Stinger” antiaircraft missile types of targets up to 5 kilometers.

Zaista impresivan podatak za vreme potrebno za krajnji domet ,svega 28 sec. 
Skoro kao i POVR `Swift` samo sa duplo vecim dometom .
Mocna je ta raketa `Vihor`.Medjutim jos je impresivnije to sto Ka-50/-52 mogu da podvesavaju avionske rakete klase V-Z ( mada ih nesto i nismo gledali cesto na slikama i snimcima ) poput H-25ML dometa 12 -15 km tako nesto valjda. To je velika prednost u odnosu na konkurenciju .

Da li ima negde malo precizniji opis i slike komponenata sistema MANTA,ja koliko sam shvatio Rusi su to radili u saradnji sa špancima, ako se ne varam) i MANTA bi trebala da bude univerzalni sistem aktivne odbrane letilica od MAN-PAD sistema, raketa zemlja vazduh(ispravite me ako grešim)
