Verujem da bi Rusi mogli u kratkom roku da krenu sa proizvodnjom Ka-50, ukoliko bi bilo zainteresovanih kupaca iz inostranstva.
Mislim da obrazloženje o nemogućnosti jednog člana posade da sve zadatke obavlja sam, ne stoji. Ako takve zadatke može da obavlja pilot Su-25 i to pri većoj brzini, onda ni za pilota Ka-50 ne bi trebalo da predstavlja problem. U neuspehu uvođenja u serijsku proizvodnju Ka-50 je verovatno zaslužan jak lobi Mil-a.

До удеса је дошло због квара на команди управљања горњим ротором. Насталог услед фабричке грешке.

Last month the Kamov design bureau showed off its latest helicopter, the Ka-52 Alligator, outside the country for the first time during Air India 96 in Bangalore. The appearance of the Alligator was not a surprise, though, because the aircraft had been unveiled at the Moscow Air Show in September 1995, where the Ka-52 was exhibited in the shape of a full-scale mock-up. The aircraft shown in India is the first Ka-52 built. According to Kamov, it will have its maiden flight later this year.
