Citat:U.S. President Donald J. Trump convened a meeting today of his Cabinet at the White House, which included his senior advisor Elon Musk, to deliver a message: “You’re in charge of your departments, not Elon Musk.”
According to administration officials, Trump told top members of his administration and department heads that Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were empowered to make recommendations to the departments, but not to issue any kind of unilateral decisions on either staffing or policy. This appears to follow concerns and confusion amongst both Democratic and Republican lawmakers, about what Elon Musk’s true role is within the administration; which has now begun to cause legal complications, as President Trump and other officials continually refer to him as the “Head of DOGE” such as during Trump’s recent address to Congress, which required a correction later from the White House who stated that Amy Gleason, not Musk, was the Acting-Administrator of DOGE.

Kazu da je na tom sastanku doslo i do svadje izmedju Muska i Rubia
Citat:Verbal clashes reportedly erupted during yesterday’s meeting in the Cabinet Room of the White House, between one of U.S. President Trump’s senior advisors Elon Musk, and several department heads, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
According to accounts obtained by the New York Times, Elon Musk lambasted Marco Rubio during yesterday’s Presidential Cabinet meeting, claiming that he had fired nobody suggested by his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), further angering Rubio who already had been privately furious for weeks at Musk, after DOGE effectively shutdown an entire agency, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which was supposed to be under his purview as head of the State Department. Rubio responded by saying that Musk was not being truthful, pointing out the 1,500 State Department officials who took the buyouts, did they not count? Sarcastically asking if he should bring them back only to make a show out of firing them again. Before then laying out his plans for the State Department. Though Musk is said to have been unimpressed, stating that Rubio was “good on TV” leading the argument between the two to continue as President Trump watched with folded arms. The argument is said to have continued for an uncomfortable amount of time, until it was stopped by Trump, who stated that Secretary Rubio was doing a “great job” and that he is very busy with a lot of things to deal with, including an agency to run.
Secretary Rubio however was not the only department head who had a heated-exchange with Musk that night, with Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy also going at it with Musk only moments before. Duffy and Musk went back and forth over the state of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) equipment for tracking airplanes and what kind of fix was needed. Howard Lutnick, the commerce secretary, jumped in to support Musk. Duffy then accused Musk’s DOGE of attempting to fire air traffic controllers, “What am I supposed to do? I have multiple plane crashes to deal with now, and your people want me to fire air traffic controllers?” Leading Musk to claim that was a lie, which Duffy refuted; stating he had been told that from them directly. Musk then demanded names, to which Duffy stated there were no names because he had stopped them from being fired. Musk then insisted that people hired under diversity, equity and inclusion programs were working in air traffic control towers, causing Duffy to once again push back. The argument then once again ended following intervention from President Trump, who said to Mr. Duffy that he had to hire people from M.I.T. as air traffic controllers, stating these air traffic controllers need to be “geniuses.”

Univerzitetu Kolumbija ukidaju sve fondove
Citat:The Trump Administration has announced that it will rescind upwards of $400 million in federal grants to Columbia University in New York City, following well over a year now of antisemitic attacks and actions at the University, which the school’s administration and staff have refused to address in any meaningful way. Just in the past week, students and outside agitators who support Hamas have stormed several buildings at Columbia’s campus in New York, attempting to create a situation similar to what we saw in April of 2024 during the height of the Pro-Hamas/Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses across the United States, in which Pro-Hamas demonstrators broke into and occupied Hamilton Hall, leading to a massive raid by the NYPD resulting in over 100 arrests.

Otkazi i u industriji za proizvodnju naoruzanja
Citat:As the U.S. Department of Defense begins a plan to layoff thousands of federal employees as part of President Trump’s campaign to cut spending using Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE); roughly 1,000 of those jobs are reported to be at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) in Oklahoma, one of the largest ammunition depots and munition production facilities in the United States.
Republican Senator James Lankford from Oklahoma, has stated that these cuts at MCAAP, which only employs about 1,800 workers, will have a significant impact on operations at the facility, which produces, repairs and stores a variety of munitions, ranging from the Mark-83 1,000lb Bomb and the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB), to the MIM-23 HAWK Air-Defense Missile.
In addition to MCAAP, Senator Lankford states that 600 federal employees at nearby Tinker Air Force Base, the largest logistics and maintenance center for the U.S. Air Force, would also be laid off as part of the Trump Administration’s plan, emphasizing that the base would not be able to operate with such reductions.

Citat:After staffers at the U.S. Department of Education (DoE) in Washington D.C. received an email earlier today, notifying them that they must leaving the building tonight by 6:00pm for “security reasons.” The Department has now announced it will be laying-off nearly 50% of its workforce in the next two weeks, with upwards of 1,300 of the DoE’s 4,100 federal employees to be placed on administrative leave beginning on Friday, March 21st. This appears to follow President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of Education Linda McMahon’s plan to gut and eventually totally eliminate the Department of Education.

Citat:Both Canada and the European Union announced major retaliatory tariffs today against the United States, in response to U.S. President Trump’s 25% tariff on all aluminum and steel imports, which went into effect last night at 12:01am.
Canada, which acts as the United States’ largest supplier of steel, announced a 25% reciprocal tariff of U.S. steel, as well as increased taxes on hundreds of items imported from the U.S. into Canada, including tools, computers and servers, display monitors, sports equipment and cast-iron products, for a total of roughly $20 billion in tariffs.
The European Union has announced a two-phase response to the recent tariffs, stating that on April 1st they will reimplement tariffs placed on the United States during U.S. President Trump’s first term between 2018 and 2020, but suspended under the Biden Administration, which at the time included major taxes in American liquor, motorcycles and boats. Then on April 13th they will impose additional taxes and duties on roughly $20 billion in U.S. imports into the E.U.
