Studija koju predvodi Monaš univerzitet pokazala je da jedna doza leka "Ivermektin" može da zaustavi rast virusa SARS-CoV-2 u ćelijama.
"Otkrili smo da bi čak i jedna doza mogla da ukloni sav genetski materijal virusa za 48 sati i da je čak i za 24 sata došlo do zaista značajnog smanjenja", rekla je dr Kili Vagstaf sa Monaš univerziteta.
Sledeći korak trebalo bi da bude takođe na naučnicima - morali bi da utvrde tačnu dozu za čoveka, kako bi bili sigurni da je bezbedno za ljude da koriste Ivermektin.
"Realno, mora da prođe neko vreme pre nego što vakcina zaista bude dostupna"; rekla je Vagstafova.
Pre nego što bi se uopšte i pomišljalo o primeni Ivermektina kod ljudi, trebalo bi izvršiti brojna laboratorijska ispitivanja, piše portal MSN.

Nigeria Records One New Coronavirus Death Citat:The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has announced one new death to Coronavirus among the 10 fresh infections made public on Sunday.
The 10 new cases brings to 224 the number of confirmed infections in the country so far.
In a post on its Twitter handle, the agency said, “Ten new cases of COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: six in Lagos, two in FCT and two in Edo.
“As at 11:15am April 5, there are 224 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
“Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.”
