To give you some perspective, current U.S., British, and German tanks require a crew of four. Meanwhile, the integration of automatic loaders enables South Korean, Russian, and other Chinese tanks to operate with a three-person crew. This new development could set a new standard in military technology.
Artificial intelligence is set to play a pivotal role in minimizing crew needs. This allows for more compact designs and enhanced armor protection relative to the vehicle’s weight. With the crew positioned side by side in the vehicle’s center, demands for crew protection and interface systems in other areas are significantly reduced.
