Slovakia to Produce Most Patria AMVXP 8×8 Armoured Modular Vehicles on Order
Citat:The Slovak defence industry will get involved in the production of the Patria 8×8 AMVXP armoured modular vehicles with local industry content as high as 60%, which significantly exceeds the minimum 40% industrial participation requirement, Defence Minister Jaroslav Na? confirmed during his visit to CSM Industry Ltd in Tisovec. Given that CSM Industry Ltd will play a major role in the production of the vehicles, the technology transfer process from Finland is currently underway. The Patria programme will bring 40 jobs to the site in Tisovec.
The company has already begun to take on the first new assembly workers.

The Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic has concluded an intergovernmental agreement with Finland for the purchase of 76 armored combat vehicles worth EUR 447 million in 2022.
The first few 8x8 Patria AMV XP vehicles were produced in Finland, configured with a Turra-30 turret and a 30 mm gun. Slovak employees were to take part in this.
According to the contract, after the eighth vehicle was delivered, production was moved to Slovakia.
