Кад смо код искустава из Украјине и депресије, раније је било говора да су мане совјетских тенкова мала депресија топа (ратови са Израелом) као и мала елевација (Авганистан).
Досад у Украјини мислим да није било ситуација које би тако нешто захтевале.
Мислим да поготово депресија неће више бити потребна. Кад си на високом положају сад те сви виде и свачим могу да гађају.

6 versions will be acquired.
The basic number is 61 machines, delivery 2027-2029.
Price is 39,8 bln CZK (1,59 bln Euro)
Option is for 16 machines, delivery of all in 2030, price is then 52,1 bln CZK (2,1 bln Euro).
Versions are: MBT, commander MBT, ARV, engineering, training and assault bridge.
Part of the price is training, military trials of 2A8CZ in 2027, and basic service.
Czech government will vote on approval this month. If it will approve Czech MoD will then sign an agreement for joint order of MBTs. This is expected to happen during this summer. After that, acquisition contract will be prepared between Czech MoD, German MoD and KNDS, where the specifics will be detailed.This contract will then be presented to Czech government for final approval. This must happen until 31st december 2024.
Given this. Czech Armed Forces and its 73rd tank battalion can receive 77 Leopards 2A8CZ, that will be pretty much identical to ones acquired by Germany.With only minor changes. Part of the negotiations is also domestic industrial share, service and some extra equipment.
On top of that. Czechia can receive 28 Leopards 2A4 and 2 Buffel ARV on top of current 14 A4 and 1 buffel. This as well will need governmental approval.
In the end. Czech Forces inventory can grow to 122 Leopards 2A8, 2A4 and support variants.

Аха, овде се јасније види. Цев је засебно монтирана, није у класичној куполи.
Ваљало би погледати како изгледа одозго и како су решили спој са задњим делом куполе.

Nasuprot, ima intervju sa ruskim tenkistom negde gde kaze da je mala depresija prilicna mana. Nije samo stvar u "sa brda u dolinu" nego i sa pripremljenih polozaja, pri gradskim borbama, kada se gadjaju polozaji u posumljenim pojasevima sa malih odstojanja itd.
Pravilnom upotrebom probemi male depresije se mogu smanjiti, ali od "pravilne upotrebe" u Ukrajini mrka kapa.

Citat:Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 is essentially a bridge between Leopard 2 and MGCS / Leopard 3. Like Abrams X, it sets out to increase performance across all three sides of the iron triangle. It loses around 10 tonnes in weight, so power to weight ratio is increased improving mobility. Despite the reduction in weight, the adoption of an un-crewed turret allows for an increased level of protection. By adopting an autoloader, the tank is able to mount a larger 130 mm or 140 mm gun.
The double trunnion set-up of the turret is a key innovation because it allows good elevation and depression angles while maintaining a low overall silhouette. the tank has APS baked-in from the outset to ensure all-round coverage. The secondary weapon station has lightweight 30x113 mm chain gun which performs a counter-UAS role.
The tank has three crew members who sit in a central protected citadel. With no turret intrusion into the hull, the crew are fully isolated from ammunition stowage. As before the turret ammo stowage has blow-out panels. This ensures greater survivability.
An extensive range of external sensors and situational awareness aids gives the crew exceptional view of the ground around them. Sensors linked to AI detect incoming threats automatically and much better than a crew member sticking their head out of the turret.
The crew compartment has much more space and comfort than before, yet the overall protected volume of the tank is smaller.
The MTU / Renk powerpack is carried forward with only minor changes ensuring the tank is powerful, reliable, and as economical as possible given its weight.
The icing on the cake is two long-range / NLOS ATGMs, able to engage targets beyond the range of the main gun. To all those who say the tank is dead, this is KNDS's response. It says the tank is just getting started.

Znaci "dodatni top" se vraca na tenk. Kao kod prvih verzija AMX 30 sa 20mm u kupoli pored glavnog topa ili kod onog slovackog T72. Mada ovaj u DUBSu na kupoli je neka sasvim druga prica, mogucnosti su velike.
Mislim da je ovaj 30mm glavna zvijezda skorih ulicnih borbi i visokih i niskih elevacija i onoga sto se u tim slucajevima zeli. Glavni top je vjerovatno rezervisan za nesto drugo.
Nema ni onih "blatobrana" ispred gusjenica. To se ionako raspadne u roku od odmah. Mada najzanimljivije je sta ima od "aktivne zastite". I da li je ista apdejtovana na nova strasila sa fronta. U protivnom neka izlivaju plocu iznad kupole.
Periskopi su takodje upakovani u konzervice. I naravno integrisani dron sa posadom tenka koji moze da pomogne u osmatranju i gadjanju kroz top ispaljive navodjene rakete prilicno velikog dometa van vizuelnog kontakta. Sto bi moglo biti vrlo smrtonosno za "obicne" tenkove.
Stvarno je Svabo ili Skandinavac kako god majstor filigrantskog posla. Upakovali su u tenk citavu Ukrajinu.
