Cutaway McDonnell Model 119/220 One of the first proposals for a fabulous Executive Jet created by the McDonnell Firm and powered by 4 Westinghouse J34-WE-22 engines, with beautiful and attractive lines, did not manage to gain a place in the recently opened market for Executive Jets, which had been entered by the Lockheed C-140 Jetstar and the North American T-39 Sabreliner, although the market continued to grow with other proposals from the other side of the Atlantic by Dassault and Hawker. The McDonnell did not get any orders despite a promotional campaign with demonstration flights.
