Citat: State enterprise VOP CZ will supply the Czech Army with at least 13 CAP Shadow Tanker multifunctional tankers, which will enable refuelling of vehicles and aircraft of all NATO member states.
The army will receive the first prototype at the turn of the year, and the contract allows for up to 47 tankers to be ordered by 2031. The tankers will be on a Tatra Force chassis with a superstructure from KOBIT-THZ.
The total value of the contract is CZK 1.943 billion (~$80.6 million). With the purchase of 13 units, the amount will be CZK 536 million (~$22.2 million).
